Students gain a memorable firsthand experience of American government and civic leadership

At 9:00 a.m., our students set off for a local refugee school, Martin Brands Childcare, looking forward to a day of meaningful exchange.

The cooperation focuses on the "Learning by Doing" or "Learning by Doing" learning approach, giving students the opportunity to experience directly.

SHANGHAI, July 25, 2025 — A four-day official Sino-Thai youth STEM study tour concluded successfully in Shanghai on Friday, bringing together Thai students for immersive scientific exploration.

We are excited to announce the launch of our inaugural campus in the Republic of South Korea, set to open in the fall of 2025.
Students gain a memorable firsthand experience of American government and civic leadership
October 7, 2026 — Students from Veritas Collegiate Academy recently received the extraordinary opportunity to visit the White House and meet President Donald J. Trump in the Oval Office.
During the visit, President Trump welcomed the students to the Resolute Desk and spoke with them individually. Video from the occasion shows the students listening attentively, greeting the President and receiving commemorative items from him. The students also presented a colorful handmade sign expressing their thanks for the “Trump Accounts” initiative.
The meeting took place during a White House event highlighting the child investment account program. President Trump and administration officials discussed the initiative’s goal of helping young Americans begin building long-term savings and learn about investment, financial responsibility and the power of compound growth. The students were able to observe a national policy announcement at close range and see how government leaders communicate important initiatives to the public.
Beyond meeting the President, the students visited another White House meeting room, where they were introduced to government officials and guests involved in the event. Standing face to face with national leaders gave them a perspective that could not be gained from a textbook alone.
For Veritas Collegiate Academy, the experience reflected the school’s commitment to developing informed, thoughtful and engaged citizens. Classical education encourages students to study history, examine ideas carefully, communicate with confidence and understand the responsibilities of leadership. Visiting the White House allowed the students to connect those classroom lessons with the institutions and people shaping the nation today.
The occasion was also an important reminder that young people have a place in America’s civic life. By asking questions, observing public leadership and learning how national decisions affect families, students begin to recognize their own future responsibilities as citizens and community leaders.
Veritas Collegiate Academy is grateful to everyone who helped make this exceptional visit possible. The opportunity to enter the Oval Office, speak personally with a sitting President and witness a moment of national significance will remain a treasured memory for the participating students and their families.
The school congratulates its students for representing the Veritas community with confidence, curiosity and respect throughout this remarkable experience.
At 9:00 a.m., our students set off for a local refugee school, Martin Brands Childcare, looking forward to a day of meaningful exchange. The visit offered more than a chance to learn about a different community—it created a space for students to meet, create and connect with local children through shared experiences.
Following a warm welcome and brief introduction to the school, the students divided into two groups to take part in a range of activities. In the classroom, one group joined refugee-school students for hands-on perfume-making and craft workshops. Working side by side, they explored creativity, exchanged ideas and produced thoughtful handmade pieces together.
Meanwhile, the second group took part in games with local students. Through teamwork, laughter and friendly competition, the children quickly found common ground and built connections beyond language and cultural differences.
By the end of the activities, both groups had formed warm memories of their time together. The students left behind perfumes, handmade crafts and game cards as small but meaningful keepsakes—a reminder of the friendships created during the visit.
At lunchtime, our students helped serve meals to the children before sitting down to share lunch with them. This simple moment of eating together brought the day’s spirit of care, respect and inclusion to life.
The visit was a powerful reminder that education extends far beyond the classroom. Through compassion, collaboration and genuine human connection, young people can help build bridges between communities and make a lasting difference in one another’s lives.

The cooperation focuses on the “Learning by Doing” or “Learning by Doing” learning approach, giving students the opportunity to experience directly. Practice career skills in the real world under the diverse environment of Nong Nooch Pattaya Park, a comprehensive learning resource in both botany, landscaping arts, stucco animals, Thai culture, Buddhism and Thai food.
Students from Veritas Collegiate Academy in all the global campus will travel to study and practice at Nong Nooch Pattaya Park. The operation will start in September.
SHANGHAI, July 25, 2025 — A four-day official Sino-Thai youth STEM study tour concluded successfully in Shanghai on Friday, bringing together Thai students for immersive scientific exploration, hands-on workshops and cross-cultural exchanges. Held from July 22 to 25, 2025, the program aimed to inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering and mathematics while strengthening academic and cultural bonds between China and Thailand.
The tour kicked off on July 22 with a visit to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), one of China’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning founded in 1896. Students attended a cutting-edge lecture titled How is Artificial Intelligence Reshaping Human Health? delivered by Dr. Jiayi Li, a leading young scientist specializing in computational biochemistry and AI integration. The session covered breakthroughs in deep learning, transformative AI applications in healthcare—including medical image diagnosis, intelligent drug design and personalized genomic analysis—and the synergy between computational biochemistry and precision medicine.
On July 23, participants delved into life sciences at Shanghai Jinlinggu Laboratory, where they took part in the core Decoding Our Genetic Secrets biological experiment workshop. Breaking away from traditional textbook-based teaching, the full-immersion program guided students through cell structure observation, microscopic slide preparation, mitochondria and nucleic acid staining, and introductory genetic engineering under the supervision of professional biology tutors in a state-of-the-art, safety-compliant laboratory.
July 24 featured a visit to Shanghai New Epoch Bilingual School, a boutique K-12 institution renowned for its STEM-focused dual-track education preparing students for North American universities. Students participated in an age-specific coding workshop: middle schoolers created interactive games like Maze Escape using Scratch’s block-based platform, while high school students developed practical Python applications including number guessing games and calculators on Replit.
The afternoon included a tour of the Shanghai Natural History Museum and ended with a scenic tour of The Bund, where students admired the iconic Exhibition of International Architecture and the contrasting modern skyline of Lujiazui.
The study tour concluded on July 25 with a visit to Shanghai Expo Culture Park, a 2-square-kilometer world-class urban central park dedicated to sustainable ecology and cultural innovation. Students explored its diverse landscapes including desert, rainforest and vertical gardens, and learned about the park’s cutting-edge sustainable design features that harness natural light and renewable energy.
Throughout the four-day program, Thai students gained hands-on STEM experience, developed critical scientific thinking and broadened their international perspectives. Beyond academic enrichment, the tour served as a vital bridge for Sino-Thai youth cultural exchange, fostering mutual understanding and laying the groundwork for future academic collaborations between the two countries.
